Holidays in Australia will be different from, and better than, what you expect. Australia is a colossal land with an astounding variety of terrains and environments. Travelling Australia you’ll experience bright blue skies, never-ending red deserts, sun-bronzed, white sand beaches and vast green wetlands, tropical rainforests, alpine snowfields, dense bushland, gorges, lakes and rivers. Australia is jam packed with unappreciated natural wonders that will leave you well and truly gob-smacked.
Australia’s national parks are home to many species of birds and mammals not found in the wild anywhere else in the world. In fact, eighty percent of all that lives in Australia, plant and animal, exists nowhere else and in an abundance that is hard to believe.
Australia is a big country, but being so large, Australia has a wide range of climates. There is always somewhere great to visit, all year round. We’ll help you with your Australia itinerary. We can take you from Darwin’s top end – the Northern Territory and Red Centre – where you’ll discover rich Aboriginal history to Western Australia’s Kimberley ranges, the shorelines of Broome and down to cruisy Perth. You can dive on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef, hike the Daintree – the world’s oldest rainforest – or swim the beaches of the Gold Coast. Visit Sydney’s Harbour Bridge and Opera House and indulge yourself in Melbourne’s fantastic café culture and the wine regions of South Australia. You’ll never be short of things to do in Australia ….
From the ancient, spiritual ways of the Aboriginal people to the wide array of faiths and festivals, Australia is a cultural melting pot. You’ll find world-class Vietnamese, Turkish, Italian, Greek, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Indian cuisine, as well as excellent European and gastro-pub fare. Enjoy these foods with some of the best wines in the world from South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Western Australia’s Margaret River and New South Wales’ Hunter Valley and let your Australian holidays unfold.
Bill Bryson sums up things about Australia best: “The people are immensely likable — cheerful, extrovert, quick-witted, and unfailingly obliging. Their cities are safe and clean and nearly always built on water. They have a society that is prosperous, well ordered, and instinctively egalitarian. The food is excellent. The beer is cold. The sun nearly always shines. There is coffee on every corner. … Life doesn’t get much better than this.”
